Cooking workshops (with Anja & Emile)
In Italy people think that tastes must be pure. Italians work as much as possible with fruits and vegetables of the season and in each dish they only use a few ingredients. No difficult and complicated recipes, but a as pure and simple as possible. The taste of the meat, fish or vegetables must be maintained or strengthened not overshadowed. The main ingredients of the Italian kitchen are olive oil, garlic, onion, celery, carrots, tomato, basil, rosemary, thyme, parsley, oregano, bay and marjoram. People spent much time and love on repairing diner. A big joy to participate in and to taste.
Adapted to everybody's level and preference we cook together e few very different recipes of the Italian
kitchen: antipasti, primi piatti (pasta, gnocchi, risotto, etc.), secundi piatti (fish, meat, turkey, etc.)
and dolci (tiramisu, cakes, ice, etc.), everything pure, natural and seasonal. We can also let you
experience the making of different kinds of dough (pizza, ciabatta, focaccia, etc.) and bake pizza's with
you in our wood-oven.This way we prepare with you 3-4 course dinners for all the guests, afterwards enjoying eating it together, preferably outside at one long wooden table under the Italian sky.

Excursions
For nature lovers there are a variety of lovely walks to choose from: fields bursting with sunflowers, the woods in the nearby area, or the nature parks. In addition the area offers many caves that are well worth a visit, like the fascinating sinter-caves of Frasassi. Sports enthusiasts can choose from golf, cycling through the hilly landscape, or a few hours of paragliding and seeing this beautiful area from an entirely different view.
Along the entire Adriatic coast there are many beautiful sandy beaches. The beaches between Pesaro and
Marotta are particularly ideal for children, as the water there is safe and shallow.Besides cooking at Montesoffio, there is also the possibility to set out with one of us to see some more of the surroudings, taste local specialities (wine, olive oil, truffles etc.) and visit markets in the neighbourhood.
